We have seen many occurrences where a company will announce significant news and then do a bought financing immediately following to capture the new price (or something close to it). Strike while the iron is hot.
POET needs to market to US Institutional Investors first so they have that audience. Then they can strike while the iron is hot and set the pricing. At this time that would be the most logical thing for them to do. This assumes that they are expecting some news to inspire the buyers.
Baba, we should not have to wait too long to find out whether you will be pleasantly surprised.
Late October/Early November is when they expect to set the price.
