Hope is a terrible investment strategy. If one doesn't understand an investment, one should probably not be in it (ref: Warren Buffett). No disrespect intended, but while it's great to have people on this board explaining the technology, one should not be dependent on it.
I think one reason there's such a disconnect between the confidence expressed by some people on this board, and the teeth gnashing by others is that the former have taken the time and effort to really understand the core technology and business strategy. There's really no subsitute for arming yourself with your own due diligence.
