Ahasja, let's differentiate. My take is that management shouldn't please daytraders, shouldn't care about the day to day share price fluctuations, shouldn't do any other kind of short-term manipulations, not to speak of trickeries.

However – and here I agree with you –, management should keep the company's investors informed about business, products, strategy and so on – honestly and as extensively as possible. That's what they did with the THM, and I like it.
