Generally speaking, eligibilty of investments are the same in both RRSP's and TFSA's in Canada. Since the Federal government removed the ceiling on foreign content a number of years ago, we can now hold up to 100% of "eligible" investments within these two vehicles. You'll need to read up on what is eligible on the government website but it is very broad based.
