With the lab now three thousand miles away in California from Uconn and the fab in Taiwan which is well on its way to production. It seems he is no longer hands on and is comfortable with the tech's success and monotazation plan going foward. He has more than earned his retirement and hopefully a long one. Poet will always be his baby.
