Infinera refers to this as "the Infinite Capacity Engine", taking Optical Transport to the next level, and it does reveal interesting characteristics and states they will reveal more later in 2016..........FJ has made reference to the Poet Platform, as "the Optical Engine".
2015 Infonetics Research/IHS ranked Infinera as the "fastest growing optical company in the West" and in a separate report named Infinera as a leader among the top optical network hardware vendors, describing the company as the “ne plus ultra of the rapidly growing Internet content provider and datacenter interconnect market” and a leader not because of size but because of “outstanding customer perceptions, large market share gains and tight finances.” Further in 2015 research firm Ovum ranked Infinera the number one supplier of datacenter interconnect (DCI) platforms to ICPs and carrier neutral providers worldwide. The rankings underscore Infinera's performance in these segments and validate the company's approach to delivering the right products into the Cloud and datacenter markets.
It is interesting that our new Director of Product Development comes to us directly from Infinera.
