I respectfully but strongly disagree. This NR was for public consumption, or else Dr. Taylor's resignation and the simplified bullet points at the top would not have been included. Investment will come from financial concerns, not the scientific community.
Still, if the talk must include science, and I agree it often must, including links to details that address scientific/technical specs (such as the Short Reach comes white paper) could achieve this. And not all articles will be hybrids, in the future, some will be geared toward the scientific crowd, some to the business/investment crowd. It is not unreasonable to expect that they must have the capacity to address both with clarity.
