If I didn't have others counting on my sober relationship with risk, there could be a argument made to short Apple and use the proceeds to go long poet. Not that it's a merger arbitrage so much as believing that relative to poet, Apple isn't really going anywhere near term. It's kind of like a carry trade. Sure felt good seeing ptk pop up above the water the last two trading days of the year.
