13 Jan 2016, Bloomberg - Qualcomm teaming with Japan's TDK to set up a $3 billion joint venture in RF chips, modules, and components for cellphones and wirelessly connected cars, robots, drones and other systems. The joint venture will be called RF360 Holdings and based in Singapore. It is expected to begin operations in 2017. Qualcomm will own 51% of the venture while TDK's Epos subsidiary in Germany will hold 49%.
