Micron Technology
Broke ground in March 2015 on a major expansion of a 300mm wafer-processing plant in Singapore that will begin production of 3D NAND flash memories in late 2016 (during Micron's fiscal 1Q17 period). Micron plans to eventually invest $4 billion in the expansion, starting with $50 million to initially build out the facility in 2015.

19 October 2015, Singapore - Applied Materials, Inc. today announced it plans to establish a new R&D laboratory in Singapore in collaboration with the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). The S$150 million joint investment will focus on developing advanced semiconductor technology to fabricate future generations of logic and memory chips.
