There are a number of ideal news release timing scenarios in the lead-up to 9/30, but one option is to go with a significant partner announcement the morning of 9/30 before market opens, let the market run with it, and then go into detail on the CC. Aside from revenue, the market wants solid industry adoption of the tech, and an established partner that is willing to invest in the long-term viability of Poet as a technology is key.
I think this is what Peter Copetti was referring to in the CIC video when he said he wants someone who can see a product line based on Poet.
