In past years when the company was issuing shares in private placements to raise funds, warrants were attached to the shares issued. Mazan as an investee in these private placements received the warants when he bought the private placement shares. As you have to be an accredited investor(million in investments) in most cases to participate in private placements,most of us have not had the opportunity to play with warrants.
