7nm gives that consortium the potential for a fast digital processor not a POET chip. Plus POET expects to have quantum capabilities (single electron transistor in which a standalone patent was just issued for) well before 7nm. It will be interesting to see the error rate due to quantum effects of this new chip at 7nm if/when commercial production happens in several years. By that time POET's fully integrated capability could have full market penetration.
