I find IBM's achievements quite comforting. While only intuition, rather than scientific knowledge, tells me they are years behind PTI, more importantly, their work really just confirms for us that Dr. Taylor is on the right track (and leading the pack). I would be a lot more nervous, if for example, no one had ever even heard of III-V materials and the entire industry were going down a completely different path.
