mo, everyone is throwing out their theories. I threw out an observation and I'm a bit surprised no poster has mentioned the possibility. For example, let's say Ajit (or whoever) made Blevins a great offer and after doing his DD, Blevins decided to leave Apple and join POET. Apple may well not be too pleased with losing someone who appears to be quite valuable. Also, it's not impossible Blevins angered a higher up at AAPL (having nothing to do with his competence whatsoever), and he realized his future there was capped, so became available. Those kind of scenarios don't take away from Blevins, but could explain the unusual circumstances we've seen lately in terms of Chris's replies.
Just want to make sure all possible theories (or as many as possible) are put forth. Nothing more sinister than that.
