If what you say is true then I guess that this would suggest that ether the CEO has been selected and has not yet been announced which could be. But more likely in my opinion is that the Adjit who was the CEO of the second largest foundry in the world is being very careful in making his choice. The company has announced plans to accelerate the hiring of additional executive staff and Ajit might be looking towards placing a team with a proven track record (they are building a company). That removes all those delays in coming up to speed with strength, weakness, expectation ...
I think if you review the CIC presentation you will get a pretty good picture of the timelines Peter described for having a new CEO in place.
This has been talked about here before also in terms of whether the CEO is leaving an existing position or coming out of retirement. The one thing we know for sure is that the new CEO is not going to be Peter which has often been speculated about in the past.
