If it was a PP (Private Placement) and that POET had to issue new common shares (not from exercise of warrants), there would have been a new release pertaining to a) the conditions of such financing and b) the closing of such financing.

Well, at least, this is how it used to be during the years I've worked for a listed TSX venture company.
