I've watched this board with interest over the past few weeks.
We really should stop trying to second guess the mgt. They are in the driving seat, are paid to know what they are doing and appear to do it.
Lets strip the issues back to basics
Technology- Done- tick
Management team - key (heavyweight) players in place and more to be taken on.
Commercialisation - undoubtedly happening behind the scenes.
Public awareness / PR - the ball is rolling and momentum will build
Investing institutions take time to buy into an idea. Even now grads and interns may be reseaching and writing long papers on the merits of an investment into Poet. Firms don't invest capriciously. They have filters that investments must pass (eg revenue and profit etc) and they worry about Q on Q and YoY performance and don't want to take on something that will affect their quartile rankings against peers in the short term even though there may be mouth watering returns in the long term. Hedgies can take a different view.
Given the above am I happy with my position here?? Yes- very; so time to relax a bit and focus on other things whilst the mgt team work on my behalf (our) to bring this baby to life.
