Now that I think back. Bob asked about burn rate and cash position and noted that POET will not need to raise cash in any foreseeable future and as such would be one of the reasons why this company remains under the radar. They are not approaching any brokerage houses for future financing.
It adds up to being a great opportunity for Bob to be the first one to name this company as a top pick on BNN. But first he needs to be able to talk to management...something they say they can't do until they are out of year end black out.
The thing is POET knows that Bob is the micro-cap tech guy and that he makes regular appearances on BNN. They know that he will be asked for an opinion about POET on national TV but still would not provide Bob with an opportunity to be interviewed.
Declining the PR value associated with such coverage has got to make you wonder why they are holding back.J
