POET Technologies Inc.

I have some cash in USD after selling a US stock. Would it make sense to buy POETF instead of PTK to avoid currency conversion? So far I've buying PTK, so another option would be averaging down my current holdings. Not sure what to do at this point. Sorry for a silly question.
