Given the Schneider and Joel detractors, perhaps Poet should set up a Poet Fact Check Portal.
BlackBerry did this recently to deal with individuals....
“…trying to incite fear, uncertainty and doubt about BlackBerry” and “…sensationalized reports surrounding our viability and misperceptions about our product portfolio.”
So they launched the BlackBerry Fact Check Portal.....
“…a place for us to hold our competitors accountable for what they say, when what they say is wrong.”

I'm presuming it would take a lot of manpower and $$$ to monitor and defend against such attacks, but maybe its mere presence would be enough of a deterrant to keep the hacks from having carte blanche to say whatever they want and skirting the facts.
