It's apparent that since Ajit Manocha has come on board, the company is dialing back the publicized expectations. I suspect the reasons are twofold, under promise and over deliver, and more importantly, maintain as low a profile as possible to the rest of the industry until they are firmly in their midst with verified processes, thereby increasing POET's leverage in negotiations and ability to command never seen before concessions in offering oxygen to a suffocating silicon industry.
