Here is a link to an Article by our favorite hater, Joel Hruska (sp) I dont really agree with him but the graph in the article is usefull. It clearly shows that clock speeds have been flat since about 2000. Which is why the marketing people stopped using it as a metric to determine speed. So I think the answer to why Poet is not telling us the clock speed is, that nobody does that anymore. Just my opinion.
