I would be curious what this person's role will be in such a tiny organization, and how it will differ from Copetti's and Manocha's responsibilities. Job descriptions anyone? I suspect the dynamic morphing the company is experiencing has resulted in reinventing this role many times, which is why it has not been filled (or announced). Will he/she lead a small, scientifically oriented organization, a company which wil become a marketing monster, a cadre of engineers working offsite at client facilities, all of the above, in addition to ensuring the financial stability of a company that will continuously be approached as a buyout target, a partner, perhaps even an acquirer of new technologies. It must be a daunting task to select a person who will fill both the immediate needs and those that will evolve. Anticipating and fulfilling resource needs, leading while addressing demand for face time in front of industry, investment communities, etc. Quite a role to fill.
