Thanks, fairchij. I looked on the company web site yesterday for company officers and members of the BOD. Didn't see Sheldon on there. 5% of total holdings is not much to give up. Who knows, maybe the guy had some unexpected expense come up and had no other way to meet the expense except selling 1/20th of his holdings in POET. No one knows what his particular circumstance was except for him.. but anyone can be caught in a bind where they have no choice but to give up something of value against their best wishes but in response to "circumstance". No one is immune.
