P2 above 2b was one of my long list of de-risking criteria - it came in at at least double P1.... and that's with a modest burn rate accompanied by no revenue streams! Essentially, Poet is a set of patents/ideas that's worth $2.3b - awesome!
In the last 6-8 months Poet has done nothing except hit every technological milestone on its checklist. It also beefed up its personnel to take on fab and commercialization, etc, etc...
Yes the SP slumped, but I couldn’t care less about its day-to-day gyrations.
As for those who suggest SI was dumping the price down so his options would be cheaper, give your head a shake. If the rest of the BOD is not wise to this obvious amateur move, all of Poet is in trouble. I'd hope his options have already been negotiated.
