Thisbis my understanding and I welcome clarification if I am wrong. Whenever thencompany talks about scaling to 100nm they are refering to gate size. There are not really any other parts of the chipset that will be smaller than the gate. So saying that we "HAVE" scaled to 100nm means that MS8 is complete in reality. No other part of the chip is that small and doesnt have to be because youb dont stick thousands of anything else on a chip. So whatever CC says, the article clearly says that Poet P&N chanel are at 100nm. Now if the MS 8 requires sub 100nm then they are very close, but the origional presentation said "100nm OR below". It is just a matter of time now. Taylor clearly thinks the major hurdles are done and protected by IP or he wouldnt have given out that much detail on how everything works in an article. Stealth mode is almost over in my opinion.
