When I add up what I paid for the shares I bought on margin less what i reeceived from what I had to sell to cover divided by the number of shares I have left(from margin buys) equals over $3. Basically I'm spreading the loss on the shares I had to sell over the shares I have left.
Thanks for your concern but I can only blame my own greed for this. I had enuf shares (IMO)for my Freedom 45 plan before setting up my margin account but human nature will always make you want more.
It was an expensive lesson but I did learn how margin accounts can be used by "them" in a similar manner to stop losses to fleece shares from unsuspecting or unprepared retailers so not a total loss. (If I keep telling myself this, eventually I may believe it! lol)
