I find it almost impossible to believe that a partnership is not being formed as I type.
The company has virtually stated that fact.
I agree that it is likely that the 100nm and partner announcement will occur simutaneously.

It is a difficult process to licence a product; a licencing fee has to be negotiated and agreed upon, as well as the royalty fee. From the corp. presentation:
Licensing
• Certain specialized market segments might be best addressed by licensing all or part
of the POET/PET technology to one or more 3rd parties for use in a given market
• Can be complex with difficult-to-foresee implications for other activities
The BoD, with Adam Chowaniec involved, know how much this technology is worth. They will drive a hard bargain, ensuring we the shareholders are well rewarded, and protected from "difficult to forsee implications for other activities".
I expect our legal costs to soar in this quarter, and only hope that the money is well spent for our protection.
All of this takes time.
I'm as impatient as anyone, but realistic in the sense that if we are to be well protected, then the lawyers need to go over the documents with a fine tooth comb.
Only then will we receive the news we've been waiting for.
