We retail shareholders are acting, well, exactly like retail shareholders. Especially when dealing with a speculative technology, the reactions of shareholders to certain events/stimulii are far more predictable than the route the technology takes.
I have long thought that a great college psychology course would consist of following a message board such as POET's for an entire semester - it would be fascinating.
