What bothered me this morning...is the similarity to something that happened literally 3 years ago to the day.
We all heard about, and may have taken a position in...INT. (I've referenced this a few times). I knew 1/50th about INT that I know about POET now. It was my investor friend who's tipped me off on a couple of companies that told me about Ortsbo. With literally no DD, I dove in at .60.
On April 18th, it climbed to a a little over 3 bucks on 14 million volume. I chickened out and sold the next day, and then considered buying more on the way down. I never did, and used the profits to buy OPL. To compare INT with POET would be like comparing dog poo with beluga caviar, and the proof is in the pudding. But when you talk about the role fear plays in investing, there's no doubt today's drop to just over 2 bucks reminded me of that story. And because it's the vulture exchange, I do wonder how many people suddenly "chickened out" without really knowing the true story.
