Maybe I can add something to this discussion, but of course you have to also take me at my word.
At one point before Atomic came on board and Chris took over IR, there were several POET employees who were more than happy to answer questions from concerned/ curious etc. shareholders. While obviously they never disclosed anything material, I found them to be upfront and honest and as helpful as they could be in regards to disclosure laws.
I was told in no uncertain terms once Chris took over, that no board member or any POET employee for that matter would be discussing anything at all with shareholders, investors, fund managers, bloggers......or "Bay street guys".
They've said for quite a while that they will not discuss any detail regarding their monetization plans that isn't already stated in an nr.
If any bay city roller..errrrr, I mean bay street investor was looking for info.....it doesn't surprise me that they were stonewalled.
