I'm trying to come to grips with this question: Why is Pinetree still buying? Two possibilities to me...Sheldon knows something (ie the progress of negotiations and technical issues) or, he's going to make sure that when a deal is struck, he'll own enough shares to have a say if it comes down to a vote.
