ORVANA'S SALE OF COPPERWOOD TO HIGHLAND TO CLOSE ON OR BEFORE JUNE 17

Orvana Minerals Corp. and Highland Copper Company Inc. expect to close the sale of Orvana's Copperwood project to Highland on or before June 17, 2014. All material closing documents have been settled between the parties. The base consideration of $13-million (U.S.), as described in the news release issued May 29, 2014, to be paid to Orvana and the shares of Orvana Resources U.S. Corp., together with all closing documents, are expected to be exchanged on or before June 17, 2014.
