Northern Abitibi Mining's Profile

Northern Abitibi Mining Corp. High grade Gold & Nickel discovery, Viking & Taylor Brook - Newfoundland

Northern Abitibi Mining Corp. is a Canadian Junior Exploration Company focused on exploration opportunities within North America. Our experienced exploration team is focused on identifying potential in new or historic mining districts and advancing and drilling them in a cost effective manner.

The Company‘s most advanced property is the Viking Gold Project located in the mining friendly jurisdiction of Newfoundland and Labrador. In 2009 the Company discovered a new gold trend at Viking and has defined it by drilling over a strike length of 1300 metres. Drilling highlights include 4.8 metres grading 41.4 g/t gold, 3.7 metres grading 50 g/t gold, 27 metres grading 7.9 g/t gold, and 23 metres grading 5.12 g/t gold. The Company plans to continue aggressive exploration at Viking and produce the first resource estimate on the property by the end of 2010.

In 2008 Northern Abitibi:

Discovered several zones of nickel mineralization at Taylor Brook, Newfoundland,

Discovered high grade gold at Viking, Newfoundland,

Viking Gold Project

Gold mineralization at Viking occurs within a 3 to 4 km long gold in soil anomaly and the property has excellent potential to host a multi-million ounce gold deposit.

2007 and 2008 trenching programs have identified 6 zones of high grade gold mineralization

Highlights include:

23 metres grading 5.12 g/t gold

10.8 metres grading 2.43 g/t gold

22.0 metres grading 1.91 g/t gold

16.8 metres grading 1.54 g/t gold

14.0 metres grading 1.73 g/t gold

The company is planning to aggressively continue exploration at its Viking gold discovery.

Taylor Brook nickel-copper-cobalt-PGE prospect

2008 drilling has identified 4 zones of nickel-copper-cobalt mineralization within an area exceeding 300 meters by 800 meters, all 4 zones remain open for expansion and delineation

Highlights include:

4.15 metres grading 1.71% nickel, 0.13% copper, and 0.028% cobalt

0.95 metres of 4.5% nickel, 0.16% copper, and 0.073% cobalt

0.3 metres grading 4.7% nickel, 0.17% copper, and 0.071% cobalt

4.25 meters grading 1.63% nickel, 0.36% copper, and 0.027% cobalt

0.25 metres of 4.0% nickel, 1.86% copper, and 0.051% cobalt

*Large Land position - 31,725 hectares with excellent regional exploration potential

The next phase of exploration

All of the airborne geophysical conductors drill tested during the 2008 drill program encountered sulfides. The company is currently seeking tenders for a high resolution airborne geophysical survey which would cover the entire 17 km by 19 km land package.

This next phase of exploration will likely include both surface geophysical surveys and diamond drilling.

The South Voisey Bay property -Labrador, 90 km south of the Voisey’s Bay Nickel Mine.

The South Voisey Bay property is a joint venture between Northern Abitibi which owns 47.62% of the property and Donner Metals which owns 52.38% of the property. The property has seen considerable exploration work following the discovery of the Voisey’s Bay deposit in the mid 1990’s but has remained idle for the past several years

Douay Project - Northwest Joint Venture -Western Quebec

Northern Abitibi has an interest in two properties located immediately adjacent to the 1.88 million ounce Douay Project of Vior Inc. (NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate based on a cutoff grade of 0.7 g/t Au, see www.vior.ca for details). The first property consists of 76 claims held by Northern Abitibi (50%), Vior Inc. (25%), and SOQUEM (25%) and is termed the Northwest Joint Venture. The second property consists of 2 claims owned by Northern Abitibi (50%) and Vior (50%).

Northern Abitibi's gold properties in Douay Township have excellent potential for a significant gold discovery. The encouraging drill intersections in the Douay North West JV property, attest to the presence of gold targets that may not have been adequately tested.
