NEWCASTLE GOLD ANNOUNCES CLOSING SECOND AND FINAL TRANCHE OF $600,000 PRIVATE PLACEMENT IN CONJUNCTION WITH CATALYST COPPER MERGER

Newcastle Gold Ltd. has closed the second and final tranche of the previously announced non-brokered private placement of 1,818,182 common shares of the company at a price of 27.5 cents per share for gross proceeds to the company of $500,000. The proceeds of the placement will be used for general corporate purposes.
