I thank you too for the summary. I tried last night to go through the long document - really - I tried. Just too dense - gave up after a hour or so. But I think I get the jist of it. My take, is that it's just giving us more back-up fire power.
I too wonder about the milestone payments. Might this be to better align Deerfield's motive with ours? It's one thing to loan money and collect interest regardless, but I'm a few others here are familiar with Deerfield shorting on their arrangement with ARNA. Granted, a company is not their stock, but I would think this would incentivize Deerfield to want MNKD to succeed as a company and a stock.
