Karma, I'm very, very sure that Technosphere is owned by MannKind, not licensed by MannKind from any other party, but owned outright. Now, the name on the patent may not be MannKind, I really don't know about that, but my understanding is the name on the patent does not indicate who owns the patent. If memory serves, I believe MannKind acquired the Technosphere tecnnology platform (along with all intellectual property related thereto, including, presumably, the patent) from another entity around the time that MannKind was formed (or before it went public, anyway).
