Knowing Al's history and doubting if any corporate board could approve a buyout at a 5x or more multiple to today's share price, I think a buyout announcement is doubtful right now. It may seem strange, but today was a very green day and my MNKD investment is deep in the black, but my feeling is that there is still plenty of work to do before this investment reaches its potential. I think Al and Co. feel the same way. I can't help comparing this run up from data to resubmission with DNDN. The only difference will be that instead of falling back to earth because Provenage has not been widely adopted, Afrezza may well be the first of a new class of drugs that changes medicine.
