The Type 1 study is open because it is obvious whether the paient is getting the alternative standad treatment, using Medtone or using Dreamboat. However the data is apparently compiled by a 3rd party and only made available to MNKD when it is complete. (Not being in this field I don't know if this is standard operating procedure to insure objectivity.) Right now it seems they have plenty of very positive anecdotal evidence (AfrezzaUser), but that is all.
