  • Richard Murphy

    Chairman and CEO

    Mr. Murphy is a professional geoscientist who has been engaged in mineral exploration since 1994. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO of Ginguro, he served as President and CEO of TSX-listed Independent Nickel Corp. During his tenure with Independent Nickel Corp., Mr. Murphy identified the opportunity at the Lynn Lake nickel mine and successfully negotiated its acquisition. This was followed by the advancement of the project to the feasibility level and culminated in the successful sale of the company to a competitor. Prior to joining Independent, Mr. Murphy was employed as Vice-President of Corporate Development with Wallbridge Mining Company Limited. Mr. Murphy holds a B.Sc. in geology from the University of Western Ontario and an Honors diploma in geology from Laurentian University.

    Mr. Keast holds a B.Sc. Geology (Hons), 1986, from the University of Manitoba and is a Professional Geoscientist registered in the Province of Ontario since 2003. Mr. Keast has been employed by exploration companies throughout Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba exploring for gold, Volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS), nickel-copper sulphide and industrial minerals. Mr. Keast has been a consulting geologist since 1996 and is currently Vice President Exploration for Canadian Arrow Mines Ltd. Mr. Keast previously served as the Exploration Manager for Canadian Royalties Inc.

    Mr. Macdonald is a mining engineer with 15 years experience.

    He holds a B.Eng. from Laurentian University, an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and is a Professional Engineer registered in the province of Ontario.

    Mr. Macdonald's experience has included large open pit & underground mining operations, civil construction and project evaluations for firms such as Suncor Energy, Placer Dome and Fortune Minerals.

    He is currently Vice President of Operations with Rainy River Resources Ltd.

    Guy Mahaffy has served as an officer and director of mineral resources exploration companies on both the TSX and the TSX-V. He had completed a number of successful brokered and non-brokered financings, including at the IPO stage. He has also been involved with the successful advancement of mineral exploration projects, including advancement to the resource, scoping study and pre-feasibility levels. Mr. Mahaffy holds the professional designations of CFA, CA and CPA, he holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Accounting degree in the fields of accounting and finance, and he has studied geology at the undergraduate level.

    Wayne Whymark has been involved in mineral exploration for over 30 years, most recently serving as a director of Independent Nickel Corp. Mr. Whymark worked with Newmont Mining Co. and Falconbridge Copper between 1978 and 1981, subsequent to which he served as an officer/director of a number of junior exploration companies. Mr. Whymark was Vice-President, Exploration Fort Knox Gold Resources Inc. between 1988 and 1996, and was the founding President of Wallbridge Mining Company Limited between 1996 and 2002.
