KWG Resources Inc.

Exploration stage company that is participating in the discovery, delineation and development of chromite deposits in the James Bay Lowlands of Northern Ontario. These deposits are globally significant source of chromite which may be refined into ferrochrome, a principal ingredient in the manufacture of stainless steel.

Congo is Africa's largest miner of copper and the 240 megawatt dam in the town of Busanga will power Sicomines, a nearby copper and cobalt mining joint venture between the Chinese companies and Congolese state miner Gecamines.

Sicomines is the mining side of a $6 billion minerals-for-infrastructure deal signed in 2007, under which Sinohydro and China Railway Group pledged to build $3 billion worth of infrastructure in return for a 68 percent stake in the mine.

They are busy worldwide, ensuring secure supplies of metals by financing & building infrastructure in return for interest in mines.

Since KWG has offered 50% of their interest in chromite mines to local First Nations, China Rail isn't going to get anything close to a majority stake in those mines in exchange for their financing & building a railway. If they are satisfied with a watertight offtake agreement & a guaranteed supply of chrome, ferro-chrome, or chromite, shareholders will be happy.

Here's alink to the article about their deal with the Congo
