KWG Resources Inc.

Exploration stage company that is participating in the discovery, delineation and development of chromite deposits in the James Bay Lowlands of Northern Ontario. These deposits are globally significant source of chromite which may be refined into ferrochrome, a principal ingredient in the manufacture of stainless steel.

I found this reference on E*Trade Financial website's profile of KWG:

..."Its wholly owned subsidiaries include Debuts Diamonds Inc., SMD Mining Corporation and Canada Chrome Corporation."

Who is SMD Mining Corporation?

I Google searched SMD Mining Corporation and its website describes its services as a small mine developer, as follows:

"We specialize in underground, hardrock mining and look forward to advancing your project from exploration, through engineering, development, production mining, and, ultimately, closure. Our experts are here to assist you every step of the way with your project.

Please contact us at info@undergroundmining.com or 208-338-8880 ext. 1 for further information."

My question:

Why is it described as a "subsidiary" wholly owned by KWG? Anyone?
