What exactly is it you are asking and what do you want to hear? FYI,We usually don't rehash posts from board to board. So if you are asking a question of a poster from that board, you are better served having your exchanges where they originate.

As for what is normal and what is not. Where do we start? For the record, I would not be okay with writing off investment losses either. IMHO
