lurker, we have been asking that same question many times over the years.

Gold made a four month high today and that was reflected by the strong move in many of the quality juniors until late in the day when both the majors and juniors were hit hard. Don’t fall for the “profit taking” excuse as has been mentioned by some pundits. This has the signs of a much larger and concerted effort to cool off a strengthening in the overall sector.

Gold is going to $1380 now and it will take more of the same to keep the juniors suppressed.
