If one suposes the reason for gold not making new highs since last year are that the (until today) the money supply was not in expansion, then maybe it makes sense that gold didn't do much. Maybe gold will go up in the new year when the money supply starts expanding again.

Maybe, just maybe (Grinch reference here).

I'm feeling a bit Grinchy myself right now.

Regardless, the table is still set - it just might have a bit of dust on it before the buffet is served!
