The EU decides to boycott Iranian oil, not now, but in 6 months, to give Greece, Spain, Italy and others time to make other arrangements.

Iran, pissed off, threatens to cut the EU off in one month ( and the EU panicks ).

Then US decides to effectively cut them off Right Now .
