The Dow:Gold ratio looks like it wants to test the early 2009 low of 6.86 as it fell to 7.14 today. At Dow 12,000 for example, Gold would have to be around $1,750 to hit the 6.86 ratio.

Many believe the ratio is headed back to 1 to 1.
