CNBC’s Cramer said this morning that market cap of Apple is 1.5 times that of all the gold stocks combined. Yes, they have been sleeping dogs as a group, but when the investing public comes our way they will go berserk. Our tiny market cap sector won’t be able to handle the buying without sending stocks to the moon.

Not today RG, but we both will be right someday.
The XAU lost 6.49 to 212.35, while the HUI fell 15.89 to 558.80, more than the DOG and way more than the DOW on a percentage basis. It is ridiculous!
More than ever it is apparent to me that the gold/silver shares are part of a massive algorithm trade on the short side, part of which must be related to The Gold Cartel. You would think gold was down $40 today and silver down $2. The HUI was buried compared to the DOW. The gold/silver shares are acting as badly relative to the precious metals prices as ever. The Gold Cartel has gone all out to dampen enthusiasm for our sector, and it has worked. Just the the way it is.
