My guess is just that the warrants are extremely undervalued at the present price level. Given the lengthy interval before they expire they represent an ideal opportunity to cash in on the new company's long term upward momentum. As well, they might appreciate at a rate even faster than the underlying shares so they could be sold yielding an excellent capital gain. I have held these warrants for some time and view them as a very good gamble.
